Sleeveless Swing Maxi with Contrast Panel
Clean-cut in a loose A-silhouette, our Sleeveless Swing Maxi surprises with the green Cupro side and back panels. Effortlessly elegant, this dress will take you from work, weekend and everything in between.
The dress features an all-over print of a part of a set of sailing charts, known as the Mao Kun Map (茅坤), purportedly based on the 15th century expeditions of the Indian Ocean by Ming dynasty explorer Admiral Zheng He. This map originates from the 1420s and is the only known cartographic work that mentions “Temasek” (淡马锡) – Singapore’s former name as recognised by the Javanese Majapahit Empire.
Our Sleeveless Swing Maxi with Contrast Panel features:
- Round scoop neckline
- Slip-on top, invisible zip opening at the Back skirt portion
- Sleeveless design
- 2 Side pockets
- Comes with a sash
- Green Cupro panels: Shoulder, Back overlapping pieces, Sides of the skirt
- Finishings (Bias Piping for Neckline and Armhole; Facing for Back Waist; Piping finishing for Back zip; Clean Finishing for Hemline; French seam finishing for all other seams.)
Reckless Ericka has the permission to reproduce part of the Mao Kun Map (茅坤), from the National Library of Singapore.
