/ OUR MATERIALS /
Fabric is our foundation, the first point of contact between you and our designs. Every textile choice reflects our values: comfort, craftsmanship, longevity, and responsibility.
TEXTILES WITH PURPOSE
Our design team tests each fabric during the development stage, checking for softness, breathability, weight, sheerness, and how well it holds colour and print.
MATERIALS WE USE
Recycled Polyester (rPET)
Made from post-consumer plastic bottles, rPET gives waste a second life. Through cleaning, melting, and re-spinning, plastic is transformed into durable fabric that performs like traditional polyester — but with fewer emissions and no new petroleum.
Why it Matters:
- Diverts plastic waste from landfills and oceans
- Uses up to 50% less energy than virgin polyester
- Reduces fossil fuel dependency
RECYCLED SPANDEX
Recycled spandex offers the same elasticity and comfort as traditional spandex, but is made using pre- or post-consumer waste. It’s an essential ingredient in garments that stretches with you, now with a smaller environmental footprint.
Why it Matters:
- Reduces textile and manufacturing waste
- Supports circular production
- Ideal for performance, fit, and flexibility

OEKO-TEX® Certified Linen
Our linen is certified free from harmful substances and processed responsibly. Naturally breathable, textured, and biodegradable, linen is one of the oldest and most sustainable textiles — perfect for warm climates like Singapore.
Why it Matters:
- Uses less water to grow than cotton
- Grows without synthetic fertilisers
- Long-lasting and biodegradable

Pima Cotton
Grown primarily in the U.S. and Peru, Pima cotton has extra-long fibres that make it exceptionally soft, smooth, and durable. Its high resistance to pilling makes it ideal for garments that are worn and loved frequently.
Why it Matters:
- Softer and more durable than regular cotton
- Natural breathability and longevity
- Requires less frequent replacement
Organic Cotton
Organic cotton is grown without toxic pesticides, synthetic fertilisers, or genetically modified seeds. It’s gentler on your skin and the environment, promoting healthier soil and safer conditions for farmers.
Why it Matters:
- Supports biodiversity and healthier ecosystems
- Uses significantly less water
- Biodegradable and renewable
Nylon
A lightweight and resilient synthetic, nylon gives garments shape and structure while maintaining flexibility. We use it selectively in pieces that require technical strength or wrinkle resistance.
Why it Matters:
- Durable and abrasion-resistant
- Enables lasting shape retention
- Easily blends with stretch or sheer fabrics

Viscose
Viscose is a semi-synthetic fibre made from wood pulp — usually from fast-growing trees like eucalyptus, beech, or pine. It mimics the feel of silk while being breathable, lightweight, and biodegradable.
Why it Matters:
- Derived from renewable sources
- Drapes beautifully
- Biodegradable under the right conditions
TENCEL™ (Lyocell)
TENCEL™ is a branded form of lyocell made from sustainably harvested wood in a closed-loop system that reuses water and solvents. It’s ultra-soft, breathable, and kind to skin and planet.
Why it Matters:
- Closed-loop production reduces waste
- Strong, breathable, and wrinkle-resistant
- Certified by FSC® and EU Ecolabel
WHERE MATERIAL MEETS INTENTION
We don’t just choose fabrics. We test, wear, wash, and live with them. Each material must feel good on the body, hold colour beautifully, and endure time and care. Because what we choose now determines how your garment lives later.
Every fibre carries a decision that shapes the craftsmanship, waste, and quality down the line.

The journey continues in our production process, where these materials take form.
