Our Macaw print draws from a small but beloved part of Singapore’s story, of how birds from distant lands found their way into our memories through places like the Bird Paradise (formerly, Jurong Bird Park), school excursions, and family weekends spent wandering aviaries full of colour and wonder. Though not native, the macaw became part of our shared imagination. In BELOVED, our macaw print is rendered in monochrome — bold in spirit, gentle in expression.

THE STORY
Our Sarong Skirt from Reckless Ericka’s BELOVED collection reimagines a familiar Southeast Asian silhouette through the lens of modern nostalgia.
The print unfolds in rich, illustrative panels that wrap the body with a painterly rhythm, while the sarong construction is thoughtfully engineered so it drapes effortlessly, tying with ease while maintaining the sculptural beauty of a traditional wrap. What was once a multi-step ritual is now a single, fluid gesture; the sarong secures with ease, draping into those familiar folds that speak of heritage, yet landing with the sharpness of contemporary styling. Its length and placement of pattern elongate the silhouette, allowing the artwork to cascade in uninterrupted flow.
