/ OUR PRODUCTION /
How a garment is made matters as much as why.
Our production is not an afterthought. It’s a quiet pledge to responsibility, shaped by mindful pace, transparent partnerships, and respect for the hands behind each piece.
DESIGNED IN-HOUSE, MADE RESPONSIBLY
We design everything in-house, here in Singapore. From the first sketch to the final sample, the process is personal. Making the garment is not the end of the process but part of the design itself.
We produce in small, thoughtful batches. Each piece is made in limited quantities to prevent overproduction and protect the integrity of the design. This slower rhythm affects everything: how we plan collections, how we cut fabric, and how we release new pieces into the world. It creates space for refinement, eliminates overstock, and reduces waste at every stage.
COLLABORATION BUILT ON CARE
We don’t view our factories as vendors but partners in craft. We work closely with ethical production teams in China, building honest relationships around process, limitations, and possibilities. This collaboration leads to better garments, but also ensures fair treatment, safe working conditions, and mutual respect for the hands behind each piece.
WHY WE KEEP IT CLOSE
Our garments are produced with trusted partners overseas, but the process stays close to us. Every piece starts in our Singapore studio, where design and sampling happen in-house. Fabric sourcing, cutting, and pattern work are managed by our production partners, with our team involved at every step to ensure quality and integrity. We try on and test each sample ourselves before it ever reaches you.
Good design isn’t just about how it looks.
It’s about how it’s made, who makes it, and the impact it leaves behind.
PRINTS WITH PURPOSE
At Reckless Ericka, print design is at the heart of what we do, but how we print matters just as much as our print design.
We use digital placement printing, a more sustainable method that allows us to map prints onto garments with precision. Unlike traditional textile printing, which can waste large amounts of fabric through pattern matching, digital placement printing ensures that every motif lands exactly where it was intended, and with minimal waste. This also allows for every piece to have the exact same placement as what you see on our photoshoot.

WHY DIGITAL PRINTING MATTERS
- Reduces Fabric Waste
Each print is planned like a puzzle piece, fitted onto the fabric layout digitally before cutting. This reduces off-cuts and helps us use fabric more efficiently.
- Water-Saving Technology
Traditional screen printing uses vast amounts of water and chemicals. Digital printing uses less water and generates fewer by-products, making it gentler on the environment.
- Precision and Design Integrity
Our prints are not generic repeats. They're artworks mapped directly onto each garment silhouette. This allows for cleaner lines, better symmetry, and intentional placement that protects the design vision from concept to final product.
THE VALUE OF DIGITAL PRINTING
By choosing digital placement printing, we reduce waste and emissions while honouring the design itself, preserving the integrity of the artwork in every piece we make.
When you make things with intention, how it’s made is part of what makes it beautiful.
