Our Cicada print is an ode to the tropical hum that rises on warm Singapore evenings. It is a sound woven into childhood, neighbourhoods, and the rhythm of growing up here. In Peranakan heritage, the cicada symbolises rebirth, purity, and the promise of transformation, echoing its quiet emergence from earth to wing. In BELOVED, it is about nostalgia in motion, a rhythm that feels like home.

THE STORY
Our Peplum Racer Dress from Reckless Ericka’s BELOVED collection is designed for elegant duality. Cut from thin denim material, the dress glides over the body with a cool, silky touch, its gentle lustre catching light. The racer-style bodice is softened by ribbon ties at the front. At the waist, a detachable pleated peplum belt transforms the silhouette with a single wrap, adding volume and graphic interest through its botanical print. Remove it, and the dress returns to its pure, elongated line, offering two refined moods in one thoughtful design.

Material: Viscose-Polyester Twill (Mimic the feel of Thin Denim)
Composition: 70% Viscose, 30% Recycled Polyester
Weight: 145gsm
Feel: Smooth and lightweight with gentle drape. Much softer and buttery as compared to traditional denim, with a cool touch and slight sheen.

Belt
Material: Fine Twill
Composition: 100% Recycled Polyester
Weight: 170gsm
Feel: Smooth, lightweight, and sturdy with a subtle diagonal texture. Fabric is matte.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

• Gentle machine wash. (Turn inside out, put in laundry bag. Do not hand wash.)
• Do not bleach. Iron on low heat.
• Do not tumble dry. Fold over Hanger - Bar to keep.
• Dry cleaning possible.
