Field Mushrooms grows out in the open, in bare pasture rather than under any canopy, bone white where it stands in nature. Here the print gives it colour instead: lilac-grey, blue, yellow and coral caps.

THE STORY
Reckless Ericka's Blended Collar Wrap Dress in Field Mushrooms from the UNDERSTORY collection, sets a powder blue wrap bodice against a deep navy skirt in long tea length. The V-neck collar and lapel blend directly into the front dart, carrying one continuous line through the bodice before the left-over-right wrap closes with front snaps. Short dolman sleeves soften the shoulder, and a detachable printed sash defines the waist. Field Mushroom, usually bone white in an open field, turns up here in lilac-grey, blue, yellow and coral, placed at the shoulder and running down into the sash.

For Work
Fasten the wrap neatly and tie the printed belt in a low flat knot, then add navy slingbacks and a pale structured tote. Keep jewellery fine so the blended collar and continuous dart line remain the focus.

For Night Out
Set the lilac and navy palette against silver: a metallic sandal, sculptural earrings and a satin clutch. Pull the belt slightly firmer and leave the collar open enough to sharpen the V-neck.
