Furoshiki (Striped Camellia)

A furoshiki is historically used to bundle clothes at Japanese bathhouses, which is where it gets its name: furo (bath), shiki (spread). The furoshiki has evolved into a sustainable, versatile accessory.

The ABIDEfuroshiki from Reckless Ericka is shaped by the idea of being known and held. Inspired by love that lasts and familiarity that comforts, it draws from the same language as the ABIDEcollection. Soft florals, gentle movement, and motifs that speak of blessing, change, and completeness.

Designed in Singapore and made to move with you, this furoshiki is meant to live beyond a single use. Wrap it around a gift given with thought. Tie it as a wristlet, a neck scarf, or a hair accent. Use it to carry lunch, protect small keepsakes, or knot it onto your bag as a reminder of something meaningful.

The ABIDEfuroshiki is an extension of the wardrobe and of the heart. A small gesture that holds memory, presence, and care, returning again and again in new forms, just like love itself.

THE PRINT
Striped Camellia
Striped Camellia brings together structure and softness in deliberate contrast. Bold camellia blooms sit against a deep and rich background, their graphic stripes lending order to an otherwise expressive floral. In Singapore’s rhythm of discipline and warmth, this print reflects how beauty often emerges within structure — composed, confident, and striking.
