Morel
Morel surfaces only after the ground has been through fire and rain, and the print picks up its pitted, honeycombed skin as a dense swirl of deep red and weathered grey. It comes late and on its own time, the richer for everything the season put it through.

THE STORY
Reckless Ericka's Sleeveless Cascade Wrap Dress in Morel from the UNDERSTORY collection pairs a soft blush wrap bodice, its stand collar sitting up or rolled into a shawl, against a fitted pencil skirt below. The skirt runs in two Morel colourways side by side, grey on one panel and red on the other, while a pleated peplum in a contrasting gold print wraps from the front through to one side of the back. A separate panel of the red Morel print drapes loose from the wrap, falling well past the pencil hem for movement with every step. The pitted, honeycombed texture a real morel wears in the wild becomes, here, a dense swirl of line work across both the red and the grey.

For Work
Keep the collar softly folded and let the wrap line remain clean, adding a our Cropped Utilitarian Jacket (Olive) only if the office calls for a layer. Pointed flats, a structured burgundy bag and small earrings make the asymmetric peplum feel precise.

For Night Out
Open the collar into a shawl shape and add a slim black heel, sculptural gold earrings and a compact clutch. The blush upper body and deep Morel skirt already create the contrast, so keep the accessories polished and spare.

For Weekends
