Before UNDERSTORY is released, we are inviting you for an exclusive first look at UNDERSTORY, Chapter One, the upcoming womenswear collection by Reckless Ericka.
Held at House of Reckless in Singapore, this private by-booking-only preview gives you early access to UNDERSTORY, a collection shaped by the hidden life of the forest floor. Inspired by what grows beneath the surface, the collection is for women who understand that not everything meaningful arrives loudly. It explores grounded strength, resilience and the unseen networks that hold life together.
During the session, Afton, our Head Designer, will walk you through the stories, prints and silhouette inspirations behind the pieces, offering a closer look at how the collection came together.
The afternoon is unhurried. Try on the collection, enjoy light refreshments, and spend time in conversation with the team and fellow guests from the Reckless community.
Each session also includes a portrait painting experience inspired by UNDERSTORY, prepared as a personal keepsake. Just as the collection looks to what grows beneath the surface, each portrait offers a reflection of presence and individuality, captured within the story of the collection.

FAQ
1. How long is the session?
Each session runs for 1.5 hours, allowing you to preview the collection, try on pieces, shop, enjoy refreshments, and take part in the portrait painting experience.
2. Is the booking fee refundable?
Your booking fee is fully redeemable on any purchase made during the session. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session, or no-shows, will result in the fee being forfeited.
3. What if I am late for the session?
The session will begin on time, but you are welcome to join us when you arrive. Our team will help you settle in.
4. Can I reschedule or cancel my booking?
You may reschedule to a regular House of Reckless appointment, or cancel your booking with at least 24 hours’ notice. As this preview is reserved for an intimate group with limited slots, requests made within 24 hours of the session, or no-shows, will result in the booking fee being forfeited.
5. Can I bring a friend or family member along?
Each session is limited to 6 guests, with one guest per booking. If someone would like to join you, they may reserve a separate slot if space is available.
6. Is the portrait painting experience compulsory or payable?
No, it is a complimentary experience and completely optional. It is included as part of your session for guests who would like a personal keepsake, but you are welcome to opt out and enjoy the rest of the preview at your own pace.
7. Can I try on the new collection?
Yes. The new collection will be available to try on in our full size range, and pieces may be purchased during the session. As fitting rooms are limited, guests may take turns so everyone can enjoy a comfortable experience.
8. Can I shop other collections during the preview?
Yes. You are welcome to explore and shop our selected collections during your session if time allows.
9. Can I stay beyond my session timing?
Session 1 will end at 2.30pm so we can refresh the space for the next group. For Session 2, you may stay a little longer if the day's schedule allows. All transactions should be completed by 5.45pm to allow our team a smooth closing.
10. Will photos and videos be taken during the preview?
Yes, photos and videos may be taken during the UNDERSTORY Preview for Reckless Ericka’s event documentation. By purchasing this preview booking, you acknowledge and consent to being photographed and/or filmed during the session, and to selected photos or videos being shared on Reckless Ericka’s social media platforms and marketing channels.
UNDERSTORY PREVIEW DRAW
- Receive one draw card for every $800 spent on UNDERSTORY during the preview.
- Eligible spend is calculated after discounts and vouchers.
- Valid for UNDERSTORY purchases made in-showroom during the preview. Checkout must be completed on the same day.
- Rewards cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash.
- Reckless Ericka reserves the right to amend the T&Cs without prior notice. In the event of any dispute or discrepancy, our decision will be final.
