THE PRINT
Inkcap
Inkcap rises tall and upright, then softens into itself with age, and the print catches it mid-change in cool charcoal with a stray cap or two warmed to gold. The ground stays pale around them, so the forms read as half-dissolved, turning one state into the next the way the understory reworks everything it holds.

THE STORY
Our Faux Wrap Pencil Dress from Reckless Ericka’s UNDERSTORY collection balances a softly draped upper body with a more defined pencil line below. A wide V-neck and dolman sleeves frame the shoulders, while diagonal pleats draw the eye across the waist into the faux-wrap skirt. Back elastic eases the fit, and the detachable sash lets you adjust the definition through the middle. The Inkcap print moves between pale ground, deep green, and charcoal black, giving the maxi silhouette a sense of change held in motion.

For Work
Tie the sash flat at the waist and add low slingbacks, a structured tote and small gold earrings. A light cropped jacket like our Utilitarian Cropped Jacket can sit neatly over the dolman sleeves when the office calls for an extra layer.

For Night Out
Shift the sash to the left and pair the dress with metallic heels, a slim cuff and a satin clutch. The diagonal pleats and gold accents in the print do the rest.

For Weekends
Loosen the sash, add flat leather sandals and carry a woven or canvas bag. The wide neckline and soft dolman sleeves keep the pencil shape relaxed enough for lunch, galleries or an afternoon in the city.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

• Gentle machine wash. (Turn inside out, put in laundry bag. Do not hand wash.)
