THE PRINT
Hypholoma
Hypholoma gathers in tight clusters on wood, its caps atrue sulfur yellow in the wild. Here the print draws them in fine white linework instead, outline where the real mushroom would be solid, pale against the black.

THE COLOUR
Base: Black
Print: White, pale yellow
Sash: Cobalt blue, brown, black

THE STORY
Reckless Ericka's Pilgrim Racer Vest in Hypholoma, from the UNDERSTORY collection, takes the familiar waistcoat line closer to the body. Cut in 190gsm recycled fine twill, the sleeveless vest is fitted through the bust and waist with a deep V-neck, wide collar and five-button front; a detachable printed sash can pull the silhouette closer still. Matte black twill keeps the upper half precise, while Hypholoma drawn in fine white linework and the multicolour sash break up the surface below the bust. The result is tailored and graphic, with the clustered print held close to the body rather than spread across it.

For Work
Button it over our Blouson Sleeves Pankou Top (Clitocybe) for more coverage and pair this look with our Pleated Skirt Trousers (Black). Finish with a low slingback and a clean leather tote.

For Night Out
Pair it with our Wrap Layered Pencil Skirt (Hypholoma), a pointed mule and a polished metal cuff. Keep the neckline free of a necklace so the collar stays graphic.

For Weekends
For weekends leisure, wear it with our Denim Jacquard Jeans. Loosen the sash and add flat loafers for a less formal take on the fitted line.
