THE PRINT
Shiitake
Shiitake is drawn almost entirely in tonal greys, cap over cap in soft gradients on a pale ground. It grows from wood that has stopped being a tree, carrying on in muted, unhurried tones exactly where something else left off.

THE STORY
Our Portrait Collar Dress from Reckless Ericka’s UNDERSTORY collection uses placement and pleating to shape a familiar fit-and-flare line. A wide portrait collar frames the neckline, while diagonal pleat inserts draw inward at the sides of the waist before releasing into the skirt. The rectangular border detail gives the tonal Shiitake print a clear graphic finish, and the detachable sash offers further definition. In pale grey, charcoal and black, the sleeveless midi silhouette feels composed, modern and easy to style across the day.

For Work
Tie the sash cleanly and add pointed flats or low slingbacks with a structured tote. A lightweight black cardigan can be carried for cooler interiors without interrupting the wide collar.

For Night Out
Remove the sash for a cleaner line or knot it firmly at the back, then add silver jewellery, a metallic heel and a compact clutch. The border print gives the skirt a strong finish in motion.

For Weekends
