THE PRINT
This print is a sketch of Singapore's iconic black-and-white houses, a familiar part of our architectural landscape. Designed for tropical living, they sit comfortably beneath rain trees and generous gardens, where architecture and nature have always belonged together.
This print is a tribute to home, and to the places that continue to shape us, often without us even realising it.

THE COLOUR

Print: Rust red
The red comes from somewhere closer to home. I grew up in Serangoon Garden Estate, the old generation called it Ang Sar Lee (红砂厘, red zinc), after the rusted roofs that once ran the length of every street.

THE STORY
Across the island, set back behind rain trees and long driveways, Singapore's black-and-white houses have watched the city change around them. This tee brings one of them close. Reckless Ericka has drawn the façade in warm rust red on a soft ecru ground, arched beneath "Singapore" and grounded by "1965," the year the country began writing its own story. These houses have surfaced again and again across Reckless Ericka's shoots over the years, so the print carries something familiar to anyone who has followed the brand, part of its own visual world and a quiet nod to the city it grew up in.
It is a crew neck tee cut long, sitting between hip and tunic length, with short sleeves and a clean, regular body. A bound neckline and cover-stitched hems keep the drawing the focus. The fabric is Supima cotton jersey with a touch of stretch, so it holds its shape through wear and keeps a soft, matte hand against the skin.

For Work
