Bats
Our Bat embroidery draws from Peranakan heritage, where the bat is an emblem of blessing and happiness - the word for bat (蝠, fú) is a homophone for fortune/blessing (福, fú). Often seen on old shophouse facades and ceramics, bats symbolise the Five Blessings — longevity, prosperity, health, virtue, and a peaceful life. Reimagined through a mid-century lens, our bat motif also nods to the real bats that quietly care for Singapore’s ecosystems at night, pollinating flowers and renewing our forests. In 𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐃, the bat becomes a reminder that joy takes flight when we are rooted in home.

Our Embroidered Cuban Cropped Top is a sharp little remix of Reckless Ericka’s signature Cuban shirt attitude, cropped to hit the natural waist for a cleaner, more modern line. Rendered in Midnight Navy, it feels crisp and composed, then comes alive with embroidery placed at the collar and hem, framing the neckline and finishing the edge with intention. The contrast is the point: a relaxed shirt shape refined into something graphic and deliberate, with the kind of detail you notice up close and remember later.
